Goal Getters Guide
Here's a guide inspired by Bob Proctor's teachings that often revolve around mindset, visualization, goal setting, and taking consistent action.
You see, I understand what goals are for.
Most would say we set goals to earn more money, to reach the next level in our job—to get ahead in life. That is not why we set goals.
You should set goals for one reason and one reason only—to grow.
How Goals Can Go Wrong
If you set goals that you know—or think you do—how to achieve, you won’t ever have to change your habits or stretch yourself to reach them. You just have to work a little harder or longer until, “BAM,” you reach your goal.
However, living life and achieving small or reasonable goals is not all that satisfying.
Listen, you are God’s highest form of creation. You have no idea what you’re capable of. You could go to the moon if you had the will to do it.
So, why limit yourself to staying close to where you are and getting similar results when you can set a goal that helps you grow into everything God meant you to be?
Run Faster, Jump Higher
It’s natural to want more and bigger. We are spiritual beings, and spirit is always seeking expression and expansion.
Whether you want to do a lot better, have more, run faster, or jump higher, you can.
However, if you want to make an exciting change in your life, you’re going to have to bring more of yourself to the surface. And that will require you to change some of your habits and patterns.
Changing habits, however, is not an easy thing to do. So, you’re going to need a good reason to motivate you to move from where you are, such as a goal that is so compelling that it will pull you forward. Otherwise, you’ll stay where you are—where you’re safe and comfortable.
And your goal should be so big that you don’t know how you’re going to get there. If you know how to get there, it’s not a “good” goal.
Not knowing how to reach your goal means you’ll have to be and do something you’ve never been or done before. You will have to use the spiritual power flowing to and through you to create something new.
And here’s the beauty of tapping into that power...
If you can hold the image of what you want in your head, you can hold what you’re dreaming of in your hand.
